Brown Butter Rum Bar by SOMA The chocolate in this bar is made with cacao grown on Bachelor's Hall farm in Jamaica. The rum is "Dark Waters" a single barrel release by Kinsip, a small distillery in Prince Edward County. The butter added to this combination of chocolate and rum, is warmed gently over low heat until it browns to a rich, toasty, nutty substance known a Beurre Noisette. Together this trio of flavours mingle beautifully together creating a bar with tasting notes of cashew, butterscotch, honey, oak and fudge. Worth savouring!
