Hi, I’m Joanne and chocolate has been part of my life forever. Since 2012 when my husband and I opened our lovely store, it has been our intention to share that love of chocolate with you.
We have ﬁlled our shelves with a curated assortment of ﬁne ﬂavour bean to bar chocolate and when you visit our store we will happily tell you all about it. Because behind every one of these bars is a story worth sharing. We are excited to tell you about the chocolate maker, the origin of the beans and why that makes a difference, and what makes these bars so delicious! Then we’ll invite you to try for yourself at our Tasting Bar. Because talking chocolate and tasting chocolate is what we do. And we like to share.
We have learned a lot since 2012 and two things really stand out. That bean to bar chocolate is a lot better tasting than mass produced chocolate and that this ﬂavourful chocolate is worthy of mindful tasting. Bean to Bar is about people and their skills in the traditional chocolate process. The farmers who work the land and harvest the cacao beans. The makers who carefully craft the chocolate through a traditional process and reveal each inherent and distinctive ﬂavour proﬁle.
