Deanna is the Owner/Founder and Head Chocolate Maker of The Organic House, in Burlington, Ontario. She is a strong willed, powerhouse entrepreneur that plans to change the way we eat bean to bar chocolate. She pushes the limits of bean to bar making, to create one of a kind flavour infusions that are novelty to the bean to bar world.  Flavour creations are her passion and drives her to continue to create more and more flavours and inclusions that we love so very much. Known for being different, for being able to create items that taste incredibly good even though they are vegan and refined sugar free, The Organic House is creating a movement, a change, a passion and a level of awesomeness in the bean to bar world.

Orange Mylk Chocolate 55% Cacao
This award winning chocolate is made with a base of Belize Maya Mountain single origin chocolate and orange peel, cashew sweetened with coconut flower nectar. Tasting notes: Buttery notes of chocolate, orange, honey, raisins and pineapple.
Movie Night 60% Cacao
Graced with 2 awards at the International Chocolate Awards in 2024 - one from the Americas and one from the Worlds, this bar is super popular with our customers! Caramel corn ground into a smooth chocolate, this bar is one of a kind. Tasting Notes: Caramel corn, accompanied by fruity notes from the Nicaraguan - O'Paya cacao and sea salt.
Mango Chili Dark 70% Cacao
A sweet and spicy dark bar made with cacao from Nicaragua O'Payo is the best of both worlds. Sweet mango combined with chili Tasting Notes: Fruity notes of mango and cacao, accompanied by the sweet notes of chili and spice.
Nature's Candy - Soursop 70% Cacao
Soursop is a fruit native to Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. The taste is a blend of sweet and tart tropical fruits, often described as a combination of many fruits! This is a new bar just recently created by The Organic House and shows their creativity in combining flavourful additions to their bean to bar chocolate Tasting Notes: Tart and tangy, with passion fruit and citrus notes.
Strawberry Dark Madagascar 70% Cacao
The cacao in this bar are grown at the AKESSON Estate in the Sambirano Valley of Madagascar. This estate is renowned for the fine flavour of cacao is produces, with lovely flavour notes of berries and citrus. This bar accentuates these flavours with the addition of strawberry for a very fruity bar! Tasting Notes: Strawberry, cherry and raisins. Very milky with little acetic flavour.
Lavender & Maple 70% Cacao
The flavour of the Philippines cacao shines through in this multi award winning bar! Mushroom like, earthy cacao profile is the bar's base, then combined with lavender and the sweetness of maple. Tasting Notes: Porcini, sage, lilac, petit verdot. Mellow earthy notes, with a smooth finish. We love pairing this bar with a cup of Cream Earl Grey tea. Try it - you'll thanks us later :)
Dark Chocolate Salted Caramel 70% Cacao
Who doesn't like salted caramel chocolate??? It's one of our customer favourites and this bar hits the nail on the head! Made with the fruity cacao of Peru - Ucayali River, almonds, coconut flower nectar, maple syrup and sea salt, the result is fantastic without being overly sweet. Tasting Notes: Red fruits, nuts, toffee, and a hint of cinnamon topped with crunchy caramel and sea salt.
Philippines 70% Cacao
A single origin dark bar made with cacao beans from Bon Bulak, referring to a high quality cacao bean origin from Kablon Farms. It showcases the unique terroir of Philippines cacao and the growing cacao reputation of Philippines cacao. Tasting Notes: Porcini, sage, lilac, petit verdot. Mellow earthy notes, with a smooth finish.
Phillipines 100% Cacao
Cacao at its purest. As with the Philippines 70% bar, it showcases the unique characteristics of the cacao grown at Kablon Farms. Except in this case, there's no sweetener and the pure taste of the cacao really shines through. Tasting Notes: Porcini, sage, lilac, petit verdot. Mellow earthy notes, with a smooth finish.
