Saturday January 24 -We just received a whole new batch of bars by The Organic House in Burlington and we're excited to share some with you today. Deanna, the chocolate maker, comes up with the most interesting and unique flavour additions to her bean to bar chocolate, you just have to try them! All the bars are gluten free, dairy free, non GMO and ethically sourced. Stop by and try the Mylk Orange, Soursop Dark and the Mango Chili Lime & Salt dark bars.
Saturday January 31 -We will be sampling Sirene Chocolate today. So many flavours of dark milk and dark chocolate to try made by the very talented Taylor Kennedy, chocolate maker at Sirene in Victoria, B.C. Today we will be offering a taste of the Dark Milk 65% bar that is one of our best sellers, the Winter Warmer Dark Milk 65% , with its warm spices, and Fleur de Sel 73% Dark Chocolate because we just got that one back in after a long break. All bars are NUT FREE, gluten and soy free and are direct trade, small batch chocolate.
Saturday Feb 7- Come by and try some bars from Finnia Chocolate. Finnia is based in Gore Bay, where they have a shop filled with bean to bar chocolate and a bakery with a regularly changing menu! We think we'll be sampling the best selling Buttermilk bar and the best selling Sweet & Salty Canadian maple and dark chocolate bar, and one of the newest 70% origins yet to be decided!
Saturday February 14- For this special day and to celebrate our love of chocolate we will be offering a sampling of chocolate bars and other delicious chocolate pieces that will help you choose the perfect gift for the one or many people you love and celebrate today.
Saturday February 21 - Time for Tea! And not just any tea. We're sampling cocoa husk tea! Never tried it? Now's the time. Chocolate and Tea are trending, with both cocoa husk tea, chocolate and tea pairings and tea infused chocolate bars and bonbons. Cocoa husk creates an aromatic beverage with a light cocoa flavour. We love it and sure you will too!
Saturday February 28 - We'll close out the month with a little more tea AND chocolate! Today is a Chocolate and Tea pairing. We will select one of the our many teas and pair it with one of our many bars. Come enjoy this lovely combination, and if you like how they well they work together you might be tempted to join us for one of our monthly Sunday afternoon chocolate and tea pairing events!
