In store chocolate tastings at weekends!

We love helping you discover new chocolate, new chocolate makers and your new favourite bar!

Come by the store and enjoy our Saturday Samplings. Each week-end we highlight an award winning maker and offer you the opportunity to taste some of their bars.  Here's our schedule for June and July 2024 - hope you can drop by!

Saturday June 15 - Black Jaguar Chocolate - come try this new brand from Vancouver. They started making bean to bar chocolate in Nicaragua and have since moved back to Canada, where they continue to use single origin Nicaraguan cocoa in their flavoured and plain bars.

Saturday June 22 - SOMA Chocolate - the rock stars of the Canadian bean to bar chocolate scene! Hailing from Toronto, SOMA offers an amazing array of flavours from Mango Chili to Old School Dark.

Saturday June 29 - ChocoSol Traders - Celebrate the Canada Day week-end with this inspiring chocolate maker's bars. Based in Toronto, ChocoSol bean to bar cocoa is horizontally traded from forest gardens rooted in the indigenous spiritual ecology of The Americas.

Saturday July 6 - In celebration of World Chocolate Day on July 7, we will be sampling six different origins by six different makers!

Saturday July 13 - Sirene Chocolate - from Caramelized White to 100% bars, Sirene covers it all! Interesting flavour infusions like cardamom or mayan spice and unique origins and beans such as Wild Bolivia, India and Lachua, Guatemala, there's always something new arriving from Sirene.

Saturday July 20 - Avanaa Chocolat - handcrafted in Montreal, bean to bar chocolate roasted and conched in small batches for single origin bars.  Avanaa also makes cacao husk tea an interesting and unique twist on cacao!

Saturday July 27 Finnia Chocolate - bean to bar chocolate made on Manitoulin Island, Gore Bay, in their shop where they also make bars, confections and to die for cakes using this fine quality chocolate.

Stay tuned for the August and September schedule...
